Party General Secretary and State President Tô Lâm chaired a conference in Hà Nội to announce Politburo decisions on major personnel appointments.
The decisions named new or re-appointed leaders for the Central Military Commission, Central Public Security Party Committee, Party Committee of Central Party Agencies, and the VFF and central mass organisations.
Lâm called on officials to show absolute loyalty, strong discipline, self-discipline and public-minded leadership, while rejecting factionalism and bureaucracy.
He also stressed stronger Party building, better inspection and supervision, and the protection and encouragement of proactive, innovative officials.
