The festival will feature traditional sports and folk games such as stilt walking, stick pushing, crossbow shooting and tug-of-war.
Local art troupes will present music and dance performances, alongside a presentation of traditional ethnic costumes and a photo exhibition.
The event aims to honour, preserve and promote the cultural and artistic values of ethnic groups and create exchange opportunities for artisans, artists and athletes.
Held at April 16 Square and the province’s Sports Centre, the festival also seeks to strengthen national solidarity and boost socio-economic development.
